Miss New York Perfect 2010

I competed in the perfect system on march 26-March 28th in Tarry town, New York. One of the best weekends of my life. I enjoyed every minute of it.

My Hotel room. This one of the best things I've seen during competition. Finding inspiration on my wall as I move in to my hotel room was priceless. One of the sweetest things ever done for me.

Competing in the perfect system has been one of the best moments in my life and I am thankful for the opportunity given to me to compete  the weekend of March 26-march 28th. The pageant was held in Tarry town, New York at the double tree hotel for all three days. Everything was awesome! From competing to rooming with a roommate and also meeting all of the girls. These girls are amazing and all have hopes and dreams of their own and it was a pleasure sharing my dreams with them and competing with them.

I heart the 90's (Part 2)

I loved the 90's. That was one of the best decades of my life. Everything was so fun, coloful, and much more innocent. Comedy tv series were really funny and age appropriate. I really do not know anyone who does not miss the 90's. The 90's reminds you of hot, long, summer nights with the family...or it remind others of short school nights chillin with the family, watching tv in your jammies. The good o'l days. Those days are long gone but never forgotten. Paying homage to the 90's.

These two have to be two of the cutiest kids and funniest kids during the 90's. I loved these two together. A hot mess gone right!

Wait a minute, dont get too excited. There is more. This show was the kid's version of SNL and Mad tv.

You know you watched this. Ha!

The class were always on time for.

This might have been my favorite intro.

I heart the 90's

Let's take a stroll down memory lane...

"In a 90's kind of world, Im glad I got my girls"

This was my show!!

I loved Moesha a.k.a Brandy. Brandy was def. my idol growing up as a kid. I love everything about Brandy's character Moesha. Moesha was the coolest chick in school, she always stayed fly, she hanged out with the same group of friends (Hakiem and them) and most importantly her hair was always the business. Always up on the latest fashion, Moesha's hair was  always braided differently almost every episode. I loved that about her. I always wanted my hair to look like Moesha. I can genuinely say, Moesha a.k.a Brandy was most likely my teen idol growing up in the 90's. Lets not forget, Moesha and Brandy can sing!

My Alter Ego and friend Sheneneh

Sheneneh Jenkins is the beloved Character from the hit 90's TV series Martin. Sheneneh is the character with the most sass, attitude and "mannerisms". She is tough when she needs to be and sweet and kind when she wants to be. Lets not forget to mention, she owns a hair salon and is a very "creative" hairstylist. She is my Alter Ego. I simly love her. Jet magazine should write a column about her, "Waiting to Sheneneh" :)

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
It's Sheneneh

R.I.P Mr. Goins

I cant believe mr. Goins is gone. Awesome man and beyond wonderful and funny. "Come here girl" he would say to me. He is apart of my best highschool memories/casual hallway conversations with Mr. Goins lol What a cool dude. So funny. You will be missed! We love you!

You were by far, one of the best teachers at FDA! When we were feeling down or in need of a laugh, you were there =)

Ugh...Random but no so random

I hate to see Females or Males with low confidence. I wish everyone would just love themselves and accept themselves for who they are. I wish people would understand that they are splendifiously divine and fantastic. If people understood that they are and accepted themselves, their would be less hurt feelings in the world. Hurt people, hurt people.

Miss New York Perfect (The experience of a lifetime)

Hello loves,

On March 26th -28th I competed in my first Beauty Pageant. My first compeition was awesome and a learning experience. Competing in a Beauty Pageant has always been a personal goal of mine and also a way to express my interest in modeling. Struttin my stuff was awesome and just *sighs* unbelieveable fantastical!

Unfortuantely, I did not win the pageant. I do not regreat competing in the pageant because I gained so much confidence, improved my public speaking skills and performance skills. My experience was awesome! I can't stress that enough and loved it! Never in my life did I have the confidence to stand in front of an audience in a swimsuit ozzing sex appeal. The pageant helped give me that confidence. I finally showed the audience what I was working with and I felt awesome doing it. I was on a high. I would definitly recommend this pageant to any young women who is trying to build confidence, improve her public speaking skills or in need of a new experience.

I want to give a special thanks to the Director and pageant coach Shiemicka LaShanne for allowing me the oppurtunity to compete in  Miss New York Perfect, for helping me build  confidence and also to believe in me and the talent that resides in me. You are a incredible women. Last but not least, I want to praise and thank the lord for giving me the stregtth to compete and not give up. Believeing in you is amazing, and having you as my rock makes me feel invincible. Praise the lord!

A photo of me before the swimsuit compeition.

I love the message in Soulja boy's latest upstream video. I can truly relate to the topics that SouljaBoy is speaking on. I've worked at the local McDonald's and during that time I knew people who clamied they supported me and would say things to put my dream down and I also knew people who flat out didnt care about my dreams. Some were actually family members. Do NOT let ANYONE distract you, detour you from acheieveing your dreams. Your dreams are YOUR dreams. Your life is YOUR life. Acheive YOUR dreams and be the best at it. Do what you want, as long as it it legal ;)

"He aint no square, he just like to share"

Teairra Mari feat. Gucci Mane feat. Soulja Boy - Sponsor

I like this song. A man should always provide for his women. Especially, if she is hardworking and is taking care of business. I always say, "if you want to know what someone loves the most, look at what they spend thier money on the most".

GO Teairra Mari! You look FAB!

Save the DATE!

On March 26th-March 28th I will be competing in Miss New York Perfect Pageant. *Gasp*

The compeition will be held in New Jersey at the Double Tree Hotel. The Pageant has three areas of compeition which are evening gown, bathing suit and interview. One way to describe Miss New York Perfect Pageant is America's next top model meets Pageantry.

Miss New York Perfect will be the first Pageant I have ever competed in. Im very excited to compete and just a bit nervous. I truly believe I will win.

My life at this point has been consumed with working out, work and preparing myself with the upcoming pageant.
Competing in Beauty pageants have always been a personal goal of mine since I was a kid. I never got the chance to compete as a child but my desire to compete is strong.

Save the date!

BAD GIRLS! ****

Hey Guys,

New things. I picked up a funny habit and it is watching the Bad Girls Club. I love the Bad Girls Club on Oxygen. I think its one of the funniest show ever to hit reality tv. It's def. giving me everything I need and more. I love Natalie, she is so crazy!!! and her style is out of this world. I admit, she’s a little standoffish but  within the life I’m creating for myself, I need a little excitement. I love the Drama Bad Girls Club Display.

Dear Drama: Your great but I just don’t want you in my life. I want you on my TV. ok? Good. I’m glad we got that all cleared up.

Natalie: is so suspenseful. I never know what she is going to do next. She is hilarious. Although, she can be violent I can't help but respect who she is. She is who she is and she doesn’t give two craps about what others have to say about her. Who cares if you don't like it. Natalie is going to do what Natalie wants to do, so do you! I also see myself in little to a certain degree. We really dont care and we do what we want.

Annie: Not my cup of tea.

Florina: I really don’t know about her. After, I seen her reaction to certain situations it turned me off. I don’t think she has a motherly attitude, her attitude towards others is very condescending. You can't tell people what to do, everyone is an adult in the house and you cannot get upset when the girls did not want to do what you want them to do. Florina does not seem to understand that. If Florina does not get her way by bullying others, she throws temper tantrums. Just like a kid. Oh yea, Florina is a hater and cock-blocker. When she dose not get any play from dudes or chicks, she will try to block you from getting any. Worse, she watches you as you make-out with someone.

Kendra: She is the classiest one. I like Kendra. I think she might be the only person in the house who truly know who she is and also still exploring her self. She understands that she is young, only has one life and life is great. I like that about her. Her pageantry background makes her interesting and along with her sweet southern background. Kendra is def. not down for the Drama, She is sane. Kendra reminds me of sometimes.

Portia: She was def. bugging when she took Annie's bed. Annie had chosen the room and bed she wanted to live in and Portia comes and “Debo-ed” her way into getting Annie’s bed. Not a cool move for Portia. We all respect first dips! It was very trifling of her to take Annie's bed. I don’t know much about her because, she got kicked out the house only after 10 days.

Amber: Extra

Kate: Corny

Lexie: I like her. She is new to the house . So far from what I have seen, Just a young cute southern girl looking to have fun in LA. Me and Lexie may have one thing in common; Whenever ish pops off …we are on the sideline eating... G status!

Overall, all the Girls are beautiful and special in their own way. I think some of them, need help...but hey, I’m watching and it's easy to judge. We never know how we would re-act or responded if we were thrown in a house with people from different backgrounds and a past different from us.

A clip from the Bad Girls Club:

One of my favorite internet personalities weighs in on Bad Girls Club:

I think Natalie maybe my favorite girl along with Kendra on the Bad Girls Club. Natalie exemplifies what a Bad Girl is to me. If I had a twin, Natalie would be it.

One more thing before I go, I got a big announcement to make on Sunday. Look out for that. Juicy one too!

Rest In Peace...In memory of my Grandparents. I love you and Miss you.

I dedicate my Valentine's day to my Grandparents. My Grandparents have been together for many years. My grandmother passed away last week on February 1, 2010 and she lived till age 93 years of age. My grandfather passed away February 8, 2010 and he lived until 103 years of age. My Grandmother died of old age and my Grandfather died of Heartbreak. After the passing of his wife and bestfriend, he became greatly depressed.

My Grandparents were together for more than 70 years. During their marriage they had 11 children. They were married for 70 years and in 1990 they celebrated thier 50th anniversary. A Love like my Grandparents hardly exist anymore. Full of beauty, trust and respect.

Rest in peace to Antonio and Antonia Luis Dauze. They left  a big legacy behind, Love. They showed me what true love is. They will be greatly missed by me and my family. They left behind 5 daughters, 3 sons and a whole gang of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We love you! I love you! God bless you! I miss you!

They were the only grandparents I had left.

Let's Take It Back (2007)

True Story:

In my opinion...some women are in complete denial, when it comes to men. Some women believe what they want to believe. Yes, even in the year 2008 women are still from Venus and men are totally from Mars. Some women choose to believe what they want and tend to use thier feelings as an indication of what their relationship is with their man. If you know your man is cheating in you, do not wait to catch him in the act. Dump hum right there. Save yourself the headaches, and the snooping around. There are much better things to be looking for.
For instance, six months ago, I started dating a guy I met at the national Puerto Rican Day parade in New York. As we started talking he made it clear to me that he was not looking for a relationship. However, as time went on I grew very close to him. We went to ball games together, held hands, kissed passionately and even giggled at each other's good and bad jokes. He even told me that he loved me. We did everything that a real couple did but we were not officially a couple.
Forward to December 2007, after minor disagreements, lots of hugs and kisses, headaches and an extreme amount of feelings for one another, we were still not a couple. You see, I messed up. When I first met this particular guy I heard everything he said but "I do not want a relationship." I wanted to hear what I want. Man are not necessarily Liars, they are more like actors that women script in thier international movies of love. Actors who are not right for the part in the first place but were still scripted with little regards to what they can and/or cannot do.
After investing six months with this guy, in the end, the only thing I gained was the ideal friendship.
